Glover Park even holds an annual Glover Park Day, which celebrates the community with live music, local food, and entertainment for all ages.

Even if you’re a long-time Washington local, we think it’s a great idea to see the area’s political attractions and historical sites. The Lincoln Memorial may be a top tourist attraction, but for good reason! Every resident and visitor alike should make at least one pilgrimage to see the monument. If you’re a fan of history, architecture, or historical architecture, don’t miss out on the mosaic floors and intricate building details in the Library of Congress. If you want to satisfy your sweet tooth, there’s nowhere better than Co Co Sala, an award-winning restaurant with savory meals and decadent chocolate desserts. If you’re looking to fuel up with a latte and a scone, head to Tryst, a coffeehouse and bar in the Adams Morgan neighborhood. For a great glass of wine, head over to Cork on 14th Street or Proof in Penn Quarter. One thing’s for sure, you don’t want to miss the cherry blossoms in the spring, which adds even more beauty to this amazing city.
